Kuu, a girl at a high school suddenly meets a transfer student from a special squad of students who resembles a prince she has dreamt of.

Impressions:

Wow, I can only think of one word that describes this episode, well, one acronym. WTF!? This episode was just so odd and confusing that I was dumbstruck. I didn’t even begin to think this show was going to be like this. I thought it was just about a school romance set in a somewhat post apocalyptic setting. Then they start throwing theses weird mechas and mecha limbs into the story and I have absolutely no idea what’s going on. Not to mention a big wtf moment when everything was kind of romantic and serene and all of a sudden the guy suddenly rips open Kuu’s shirt. That was kind of odd and unexpected, not to mention not explained very well because it didn’t look like he saw anything that would lead him to try and get her to come with him.

Overall, I have no idea what to think of this anime yet. It’s odd, confusing, but the good news seemingly very original. It seems to be that there are some guys and girls who have these powers and they all make up that Morality Squad or whatever. For some reason Kuu also has these powers which basically seem to be able to summon mecha’s or just the mecha’s limbs to attack against some unknown enemy, one of which is a cat eared girl who wants to kill everyone. I’m not passing any judgment now, and what I saw wasn’t bad, just not what I expected.

I really liked Kozue, Kuu’s (is that her real name) friend. Although its very likely she wont have any kind of powers so she wont be shown in the story very much, which is a shame because I liked her energetic and kind of abstract personality. Hopefully they still include her and she didn’t’ die or something in the huge crash which should have killed her. Perhaps she will be fine and Kuu will still be her friend but have to keep this secret of whatever powers she has from her.
