Mizuho participates in the play with Takao in front of most of the school, while Mariya struggles with herself and her feelings for Mizuho.

Impressions:
Wow, not only was this episode huge in terms of plot, with the play and the kiss scene, but I think most importantly we again got some advancement on Mariya’s character. I found it one of the best parts of the episode when she was alone in the auditorium saying how she wanted Mizuho to be nice only to her because she loves him. That right there is HUGE. First of all Mariya not only knows Mizuho is a guy but she is a childhood friend. I don’t know if she will actually end up with him in the end, but already it is a damn fine story arc and her character is getting more and more interesting now that it is showing some more serious thoughts.
Asides from the character advancement with Mariya but the rest of the episode was just so damn exciting. I was on the edge of my seat almost during the play, wondering how it was going to go, if they would kiss, and if this huge event in the plot would give away somehow that Mizuho is a guy, because it’s got to happen, at least to Takako. At first I was a bit disappointed they didn’t kiss at the scene that they showed being rehearsed so much, but then at the end of the play the kiss Mizuho did to save the scene was amazing. I was just anticipating whatever came and was pleasantly surprised.
As I said above I don’t really know who Mizuho is going to end up with. I desperately hope its either Mariya or Takako. On one hand Mariya has the fact that she knows he is a guy and that they are childhood friends, plus the fact she actually stated to herself in this episode that she loved him. However Takako has a chance because there is some drama in that she doesn’t know he is a guy, plus she is an interesting character because she doesn’t know her feelings. It will be interesting to see how this will play out.
