Mizuho ends up agreeing to be in the play Romeo and Juliet for the school festival per request by the Student Council, and because of students votes she will play Romeo while Takako will play Juliet.

Impressions:
This episode was great; this show is getting more and more interesting now that it is nearing the end. Not only did this episode give us a bit of a Mariya focus, like the others gave us a Kana and Yukari, but this time Mariya’s problem was more related to the overall plot. It didn’t just involve some problem she had, but her and her connection to Mizuho which was refreshing to see. I loved that they actually showed her feelings and how she was thinking about the past.
One of the things that I’ve noticed and I’m quite surprised, is how little Shion is in this series so far. I remember back at the beginning of the series thinking, and hearing several other people say the same thing, that Shion was “obviously” the main girl that Mizuho would be with, or something along those lines. However that hasn’t been anywhere close to the truth. This episode and the past ones definitely point to some kind of Mariya or Takako ending, which wasn’t apparent at the beginning at all. I’m very surprised just because it did seem like Shion would get picked but I like that it didn’t’ turn out that way. I don’t care right now if its Mariya or Takako, I just hope they don’t conclude their stories and end with Shion because that would just be stupid. After neglecting her this long it would be a crappy ending for her to get picked.
I liked how they actually brought up in this episode that Mizuho is a guy after all. They seem to have been neglecting it recently, which is why I thought it was so funny when Kei said “it’s not like it’s between a girl and a boy” when it was. I like that they added Shion into that, showing her laughing when everyone else got all concerned, keeping in mind the whole fact that she does know about Mizuho.
