Everyone takes a trip to the beach where Yuuji continually feels that he is being treated unfairly for his actions by Kazuki who seems to only be nice to Kogorou

Impressions:

I couldn’t help but continually feel sorry for Yuuji. He didn’t really do that much wrong in this episode, but he continually got treated like crap. Although they’ve said supposedly that Kazuki likes Yuuji and not Kogorou like Yuuji thinks, this episode completely went against that. It was obvious Kazuki was giving him unfair treatment, comparing Yuuji to Kogorou. It didn’t feel right. This episode ad some potential with the drama in several moments, but the moments that they gave drama to weren’t that good. It did have a nice subject and focus about the swimsuit; that Kazuki did like it just didn’t want to show that she broke it. However, even that moment was cheapened by Kazuki getting pissed off at Yuuji for no real reason. I could see that moment where she just yells no and turns away or something, but she gets pissed at Yuuji even though he didn’t do anything wrong. He didn’t act perverted when that happened, he seemed concerned about her yet wasn’t even given a chance.

I think drama is good for a show, even some that are more comedy focused such as this one; however it wasn’t handled quite right in this episode. There still is too much going on between everything that doesn’t fit together well. The thing with Kogorou, Kazuki’s feelings, any jealousy. It was good that a character like Kogorou came in for a bit but it would be a bit better for the show if he were to go away for a while because he is needlessly confusing things. There was plenty of room for enough interesting development between what has already happened that his appearance just needlessly makes things worse.
