Mizuho notices Yukari’s strange behavior and tries to find out what is bothering her.

Impressions:

This episode wasn’t bad. Again they seemed to focus on a side character, not developing any of the main relationships at all such as Shion, Mariya, Takako and anything Mizuho will have to do with any of them. Not that that is THAT bad, because they did do this episode rather well. Yukari had an interesting enough problem, better the Kana’s. Kana’s problem about having a big ribbon in comparison with her body was a little weak but Yukari had an actual problem that meant something, trying to follow someone’s shadow because she felt like she owed a dead person for getting her in the school, trying to live in someone’s shadow and all. That was interesting, I thought they showed the characters feelings nicely.

The next episode seems to be about Mariya and Takako. The title is Mariya’s feelings after all. Now that they have already had an entire episode devoted to some of the more side characters like Ichiko, Kana, and now Yukari they can get into some of the more serious and interesting points such as the fact that Mizuho is a guy, and any serious feelings that Mariya has or the whole thing with Takako. That is the one thing I guess I wish they would touch on a little bit more. Just from watching the past like four episodes or so you wouldn’t know at all that Mizuho was a guy. I think it will be a bit more interesting again once they bring back some of that conflict. It really has gotten just like a normal every day experiences thing, loosing one of the things that made it slightly more interesting then some other shows.

Most of all I want to see Mizuho found out as being a guy by someone. I think that it will make things more interesting, bringing in a factor of whether that person will keep it a secret, if they will still accept Mizuho as the same person regardless of gender of if it will be like that but on the scale of the whole school.
