Take tells Yano about confessing to Nana, and Yano tries to figure out what his and Nana’s relationship is like now after the recent events.
Impressions:
This episode was great, although not too much overall plot advancement; it had a lot of talking. Now, normally this is a bad thing because well, it’s boring. Doesn’t do anything for the plot and just leaves a filler. Not the kind of a manga to anime transfer, but just some crap put in to fill the gap between action. However this episode, although containing those qualities wasn’t really a filler at all.
I thought the bit with Yano and his mom was great. Although it didn’t have ANYTHING to do with the plot of the other characters and their relationships, it was really interesting. It showed more about Yano. Although again what they showed doesn’t really have much to do with what the major focus had been on, but I still found it rather nice. I guess this conversation could have an effect on him deciding to go with his mom or not though, which seems to be the next problem.
I still keep feeling so sorry for Yuri, but even though she got screen time in this episode it still seems as if there isn’t much hope for her. The end, although showing Yano with Yuri really hurt any chances they had together just because of the look Yano gave Nana, and her reaction. She obviously is realizing that Yano won’t always be there for her if they aren’t together and such like that. And although boding well for Yuri at the moment, Nana will overcome this and leave Yuri alone, which is really too bad because Yuri is the most interesting character in this series.

I have to agree with you, Yuri is an awsome character. For a while I thought bad things of her because she seemed to be some evil woman trying to split up Yano and Takahashi. But now I actually like her a lot, and Yano’s attitude to her is making me feel bad for her. Yuri does understand Yano way better than Takahashi does, and I think they make a better couple. Also I think that Take and Nana would make a good couple, so lets hope for that ending, though I doubt it will happen now. The end to this episode kind of crushed that idea when Yano said that he regretted having sex with Yuri 2 years ago. Maybe Yano will give in if Yuri is more persistent, and hopefully Yano will come to love Yuri. With 3 episodes to go (I think), and this new twist about Yano possibly leaving for Tokyo, I’m sure the last episodes will be very entertaining, so let’s hope for the best and see what happens!
