Allen and Lenalee face off against Road and the Akuma while struggling against time moving forward and repeating their injuries over again.

Impressions:

I’m quite impressed with this episode and this whole arc together. I mean, we got some serious fighting bits before, the entire show wasn’t filler up until here really, but the action and drama in this episode were outstanding. Not just this episode but the whole arc about Road and Miranda. As long as the show keeps on having bits like this I think it will improve immensely. Although, I highly suspect now that this arc is over there will be a couple of episodes that are less plot driven and a bit more comedic. I just hope they limit some of those. This show does better with the darker tone then a comedic one.

FINALLY they introduce Navi. Now, it’s not like I was waiting on him because I’ve read the manga, it’s just that he’s in the OP and he seems like a fairly main and important character. Like one of the main exorcists we see. God damnit, now whenever I see him I’m going to think of a little fairly, just realized his name. Anyways, that aside I’m looking forward to his character, hopefully they will include him more then they did Kanda. My god they just swept Kanda under the rug, they better get back to showing him soon or it would really suck. They’ve shown Lenalee quite a bit which I’m very happy about, not just because she is hot and kicks ass but I want to see one of the side characters and other exorcists.

I’m really interested in the preview. It said something abut how Allen actually lost his left eye. I’m shocked; does he actually permanently loose the ability to see Akuma? That seemed like such a huge power and he seemed almost infamous to The Earl and Road because of it. Hopefully he gets it back and it’s not permanent, like some thing where he only temporarily looses it during the next episode and cant’ tell Akuma apart when he’s used to it or some crap like that.
