Tsukasa and Riku head to the beach for a date, but Tsukasa is troubled when she is unable to find anywhere for the two of them to be alone.
Impressions:
This episode was pretty good. Although true it is a classic beach episode with a lot of fanservice, but that’s not necessarily bad…. There’s nothing wrong with hot anime girls wearing barely anything. Ok, putting that aside this was pretty good despite it just getting fanservice points and whatnot. The drama between Tsukasa and Riku is being handled excellently and it is defiantly the high point of the series so far. I’m still just baffled at how much I can’t clearly grasp what is going to happen. In a show like this I can usually easily guess exactly how things are going to play out but they are handling the characters so exceptionally well that it is getting harder. Sayuri still seems like a clear pick, but they put so much advancement behind Riku and Tsukasa’s relationship in this episode that it is just getting harder and harder for them to split without it becoming such a big deal. I’m rally looking forward to what happens.
I’m almost getting mad at the way the series is going just because they are making me like Tsukasa so much. She started out my favorite character, Mina being second and then Sayuri. This episode made me love her so much more. Not just that she looked amazingly hot in her swimsuit, sun glistening off her perfectly sculpted…..err, where was I? Anyways, not only did this episode show her in a great way but I felt so sorry for her. When Riku was paying attention to Sayuri I was pissed at him just because I love Tsukasa so much. I’m mad because when they do screw Tsukasa over for another girl, likely Sayuri, its going to be devastating. It would be different if I didn’t care for Tsukasa, I’d still feel bad for her but it wouldn’t be that big of a deal.
The one grievance I have about his episode was the baseball team thing. This show isn’t serious by a long shot, and I’m not saying that those crazy random moments are THAT bad, but when it interrupts an important character development moment like it did at the end it kind of pissed me off. All in all they didn’t leave the beach with THAT much happening, but there was great potential for something to happen between them at the end, like a kiss or something. It was so close, and wouldn’t have been bad for the story for that to happen, in fact it would have been great because it adds more drama to their relationship whenever thing with the other girls are going to happen. But, it was ruined! I’m just pissed they had to throw that in there.

it really is a shame. i kinda did like tsukasa too. and yeah haha the baseball team interupting much the scenes. although yeah, i get that feeling to that something will happen between the two (riku & tsukasa) to break up to be with someone else.
i think the baseball team was a great plot device. if tsukasa actually came out and said whatever she was gonna say (prolly like “i wanna be with you” or something like that), and riku and been really locked up into this relationship, then it’ll be hell to deal with the breakup that we all know is gonna happen when sayuri gets together with riku. i think that riku isn’t actually a committed bf-he’s just a pushover. so yeah, baseball team interrupting anything important saves them trouble later and riku emotional issues.
