Allen finds out about who Road is, and tries to find a way to save himself, Lenalee, and Miranda from Road’s attempt to destroy them.

Impressions:

Again, Lenalee is so amazingly kick ass. Her outfit and hairstyle in this episode was pure win. She looked ten times hotter then she did before. I don’t know exactly why, but her hairstyle just made her look amazing. Well, enough drooling. Asides from her look, Lenalee was still pretty kick ass in this episode. Kicking like crazy out of the force field and all. I still say her weapon, the boots, are amazingly cool. Kanda’s weapon sucks, it’s a sword. Wow, that’s original. Allen, a claw…Ok, Allen’s a bit more then a claw I guess. His isn’t bad, but Lenalee’s is way cooler even if it isn’t necessarily more powerful.

Miranda definitely deserves mention. I’m really liking her character. She has progressed a lot from just being a comedic source because of all her misery. I’m most interested in her because she is a tragic character, but not in an over exaggerated funny way like Sayoko from Mahoraba. Her past is making for a very interesting character. Plus, her power has got to be one of the best you can have. Although, it seems like its weakening her, she was pretty cool in activating it like that; I just wish she had more say over it. If they would have shown it activating because more of a character development, emotions flaring thing, it would have made it more interesting. As it stood now, it’s almost like she didn’t control it and just because she was there it happened. I’m extremely curious as to what happens to her. She could make a kick ass exorcist if there was some way she could use her powers without lugging around a huge clock.

Personally, I think it would have been much better if Allen and Lenalee had both died before time got turned back. Although that contradicts what I said about people coming back to life being bad because it lessens their sacrifice. If Road would have just killed them there would be no sense of sacrifice so it would be fine for the time thing to have brought them back I think. It would have been way cooler and more dramatic for that to happen. Either way, the drama and action is still good. It’s much better then the previous episodes of running from a giant robot who is trying to perform surgery. That episode is completely on the opposite end of the spectrum form this episode. I just hope that after this serious seemingly plot driven arc there won’t be more crap like that. Things have become much more interesting with the introduction of Noah’s Family.
