Tsukasa practices volleyball but is unable to do anything, constantly thinking of Riku and how he hasn’t been with her much and after seeing him with both Sayuri and Mina, she starts to get distressed.

Impressions:

I’m really glad that this episode primarily focused on Tsukasa. Although some parts were a bit about clearing up the misunderstanding form last episode, Tsukasa got a big part here and it talked about just what I thought needed talking about. All along I was a bit disappointed at the lack of any development between Riku and Tsukasa. Not so much just because I like Tsukasa, but because they had basically said they were boyfriend and girlfriend, yet they had hardly done anything. There was nothing that touched on if they were doing any boyfriend and girlfriend kind of things until this episode. Although I’m not too sure Tsukasa will win in the end or anything, I at least wanted her to have some more development.

I’m still a bit intrigued at Sayuri’s response to the whole misunderstanding of Riku confessing to her. Although she said everything was fine after it was all cleared up, I think there is definitely still something there. One possibility I guess could be that she is a bit upset that it was an accident. Although I didn’t consider this possibility too much, it goes along with the her being too popular thing. If those guys reacted to someone confessing to Sayuri like that, it’s quite possible that no one has confessed to Sayuri because she is too popular and that makes Sayuri feel isolated. In this case it’s understandable why she would be upset that he didn’t mean anything, especially if she has any feelings although we have yet to clearly see that.
