D. Gray-Man - 10

Allen and Lenalee find out what the connection between Miranda, Innocence, and the phenomena of the rewinding town is.

Impressions:

This is getting pretty interesting I think. On one hand I still think Miranda is an interesting character, and the preview where her hair goes loose has me kind of excited because I want to see what the connection between Miranda is and the exorcist that is most definitely her in the OP is. Is her power time travel? /shrug Also the introduction of the evil humans, Noah’s family, makes things interesting. No longer tare the enemies a fat guy controlling balloons which sometimes are stupid goofy looking characters. I thought that they may get into the more interesting stuff much later but I’m glad so far at the pace.

I thought that the whole bit about Lenalee’s past was interesting. Although they also touched on Allen’s past in this episode, we already knew a bit about him and what they revealed here wasn’t that astounding. However they hadn’t really mentioned about Lenalee’s past being that tragic. Although they did say how she was brought to the order before her brother and so on, they didn’t say anything a bout her loosing her parents or basically being chained up. That was interesting and very surprising.

The storyline is really interesting, and is much more attractive than the fight scenes, which so far aren’t doing too well. And of course, Linali powers the rest. :-P
