Yano and Nana set up an all day long date where they will be able to spend time alone in Nana’s house, when Yano receives a call from Yuri.

Impressions:

I haven’t really considered the possibility of any other pairings until this episode really. This episode made me think of the possibility of a Yano x Yuri, Nana x Take ending is really possible. Usually it’s kind of obvious who will end up with whom, and it’s just getting there and getting past the things in the way. However, this episode was just incredible. Not only was it filled with drama it really made me think about the direction that this anime was going. All of the characters have their own distinct feel and I think the web of how they are all connected is fascinating. I’ve always loved Yuri and Take as side characters, and it’s almost like now they are becoming more then that. It is no longer Yano and Nana being the main characters. This episode really made it more like the four of them were all equally important to the story.

I have ALWAYS, since the first episode, wanted Yuri to have more screen time. Form the moment her character was introduced I thought she was the single most interesting character in the series. Not only did she have an interesting personality, although yes maybe slightingly done before, all quiet girl thing, her past really described whys he was like that. Not only was her personality interesting, but the thing that really had me hooked into her character was her tragic past. I remember really feeling for her character when her past was first introduced a while back. She is one of the characters I’ve felt the most sorry for in any anime except for KGNE. Although so far this hasn’t really been the most emotional or second most emotional anime I’ve watched, her character has just continually been really emotional.

This episode was just, wow. Everything was great and I really think this is the lead in to the final climatic drama of the series. We finally have at the same time drama between all four major characters. Take has basically said screw it; I still and always have loved Nana. Yuri has confessed to Yano that she loves her. Yano has shown that he still may have feelings for Yuri by the fact he didn’t hesitate to blow Nana off for her, and Nana is just well….there.
