Mizuho has to come up with an excuse as to why he can’t participate in swimming class, in order to hide his gender, and his absence catches the attention of Takako.

Impressions: 

They went back to the focus of comedy based upon Mizuho trying to hide he is a guy in this episode. The first episodes had that but then they started to stray away from that a bit and touch on some other aspects. I like that they went back to that, as it was a pretty funny focus and one of the things that make this show more unique then some of the others. If they do continue with this focus I’m just wondering when or if there is a point where everyone finds out his identity but they accept him anyways or something since he is so popular, it will be some whole we don’t care because you are you thing.

I found the whole thing with Mariya and Takako’s past interesting. First off the bit about them being friends and that they had a little dispute. There was also however mention of some family rivalry. Supposedly Takako’s family has some history or rivalry with either Mariya or I think most likely Mizuho’s family. However Takako just doesn’t know that since Mizuho used a different name to enter the academy.

I thought it was awesome the way Mizuho ordered that one girl after she found her and Takako. She took charge and not only cleared up the situation but got help for Takako. Normally there is likely just some thing where they stutter around saying it’s not what you think but this small bit showed a lot of character I think.
