Tatsuya and Feena finally realize each others feelings, and try to get Karen’s approval of their relationship despite any political problems that it will cause.

Impressions:
Although for the most part Tatsuya is bit clichéd, I’m glad that he actually showed some backbone in this episode. First off, it showed in the last episode by him confessing to Feena, but then they also showed it here by him taking the initiative to continue with their relationship despite the fact that it could risk a worldwide war between the moon and the earth. Then he goes off and trains hard and dedicates himself. At least he showed a backbone.
One thing I had a little problem was how they were considering this fight to be such a big deal. I’m glad that the whole purpose was to see if they would quit after loosing rather then actually having Tatsuya win. Because both contestants basically wanted Tatsuya to win. “Oh Tatsuya, I know the only way our love can blossom is if I loose to you in this fight, but I’m going to kick your ass…” Wtf? How does that make sense? Ok, I can kind of see that it’s a deal with if she is serious or not, but…gah. They could have handled the reasoning a bit better maybe.
I actually almost forgot about Wreath until the end of this episode I’m actually a bit pleasantly surprised at that because it shows that there are two overlapping conflicts about Tatsuya and Feena being together. Although Wreath and whoever we hear talking may kind of fall into the category of political reasons, its still seems like it’s someone else entirely. Not only is there the whole Feena’s fiancé to deal with and just the whole earth and moon accepting their relationship, but then we have Wreath to deal with too. I’m just wondering where exactly she falls into place.
