Yoake Ma Yori Ruri Iro Na ~Crescent Love ~ - 07

Feena goes to stay at the embassy away from Tatsuya and everyone, while away Feena and Tatsuya don’t see each other for almost a week. When Feena does come back briefly, Tatsuya finds out about Feena’s fiancé.

Impressions:

Except for the animation, this episode was definitely pretty interesting. We had some real plot development and advancement, at the introduction of the whole dilemma Feena is facing about what to do about her kingdom, and what someone is trying to make her to. Plus that one person being Feena’s fiancé which was already know she doesn’t like so it’s more of a matter of trying to get out of it then any revelation on wanting to. Plus there were actual revelations about Tatsuya’s feelings. Not only did he figure out himself that he loves Feena (DUH) but he told her.

Urugen surprised me a bit, just because right from the start there wasn’t any hiding that he is a complete jerk and asshole who basically wants to blow up the Earth. It’s surprising because usually the whole fiancé of the main female character start off being supposedly nice and all, but there weren’t really any delusions to his intentions. Also, Wreath still has me intrigued. Basically, for the future episodes there seems to be Urugen and Wreath plus whoever is talking to her for Tatsuya and Feena to deal with. Although, I’m thinking Wreath may help in the end because they keep showing she seems to be concerned about Tatsuya past just investigating.

I’m a bit surprised at how little attention they have played to Natsuki. She seems to be a character who’s part in the game would be a real contestant for Tatsuya’s love. However in the anime not only have they not made any progress with her feelings for Tatsuya which were likely there in the game, but she hasn’t even gotten a small side arc at all.

Too bad it was highly cliche…if it had been less generic and with better quality, I might say that I actually like this episode.
