Hiro learns of Karada and Shouko’s situation and struggles with whether he believes it or not, as he goes with the two of them to the summer festival to gather his thoughts.

I’m glad that the whole series wasn’t just about Hiro trying to find out about where Karada went, and trying to believe or not whether she had turned into an adult. However now that he does, and seemingly believe it, I’m wondering about where they are going to go from here. They still have the whole deal of Hiro and Shouko, but my question is where Karada will come into play, as she was an important reason they broke up.
It seems like now that for now the whole bit with Hiro trying to find and believe Karada, we are going to see a bit more about Shouko. There is still the question of what exactly Shouko’s feelings and thoughts were that led to her becoming a child. Not to mention still the whole big focus of the whole series it seems of the feelings between Hiro and Shouko and what will become of them given the new information.
I’m still really interested in what they are going to do about that one guy who was in Karada’s class. It seems obvious that he has feelings for her, and so if not just for that I think that she has to somehow return to her child form. Otherwise it would be way too odd if they still ended up and Karada was that much older then him, and it doesn’t make sense for the boy to grow in age, and they again featured him in this episode so I don’t think they are just going to say too bad and exclude him from now on.

I’m beginning to think them might stay that way permamently O_o, but I’m only about 40% on that.
I had thought that too, and it still is a possibility I guess, I just think that there is a lot of factors that could easily hinder that. First off as I said the one boy in Karada’s class would just be hung up to dry, and there would be no hope for Shouko and Hiro given that there was a history there, if they dont give any chance for anything between them it would again put a stop to posible plot development.
Although like I said I’m not entirely set on that, as the way they showed Hiro still cares about Karada and be a brother to her even now that she has an adult body could possibly show rising above a situation or something.
