Orland is resting in the hospital while Machs continues his investigation into what exactly he Invisible 9 is.

Impressions:Â
This episode seemed to be for the most part filler. We didn’t get that much information, well, none really on Orland’s past and the entire episode took place basically in the hospital. The only thing they seemed to progress was that Orland’s two co-workers now both know about the mystery of his past but they want to find out from him. The ending seemed that it would likely lead to something where we get a bit more information. The woman who approached the chief was the one we saw earlier working in the labs, and that seems to have some connection with Orland and the Invisible 9.
One thing however that did seem to have a bit more impact then any other filler part, was that Orland talked about he wasn’t sure if he could use his lantern for good. The speech he gave on the roof about wanting to help, and not sure if he was able to because of all the killing he’s done is likely to be a reoccurring topic. About him helping despite his obvious dark past.
I did love the part in this episode where Alice showed that she really did care about Orland. Not just at the end where she helped save his life, but when she was in the hospital and it was mentioned how if Orland’s wounds get infected then his condition could get much worse, Alice showed real care and seemed to get worried.
Alice and the mystery. I thought it was decent, though I’m really, really hoping the dark stuff emerges next ep.
