Nana, Yano, and Take all go out together to try and get Yano to tell Nana about Dead-Nana, however he isn’t quite able to tell her what she wants.
Impressions:
One thing that I thought was really interesting I thought was how they talked about Yano’s past. They never even mentioned how Yano was basically a bastard or even hinted at the fact that his mom’s husband wasn’t his birth father. I think it was a bit sudden but all in all it seemed to play a good role I think in showing a deeper side to Yano. I think that we will see more of this, as it defiantly seems a topic that ha more possibilities for information. Perhaps nana will help him to get over some problem related to it and it will bring them closer together or something.
Speaking of Yano and Nana I think that it is basically a given they will get back tighter, although I’m wondering what, if any, final conflict they will have. With 24/26 episodes it seems like Yano and Nana will get back together before the end, so there has to be something that will test their relationship after they’ve gotten together I would think.
I felt really sorry for Take in this. I mean, he basically knows that he has no chance with nana, and I don’t blame him for not going after her, because as I said its obvious where Nana’s feelings are. However the way he talked about him being the one who Nana never had to look for, and how he was always able to find her while Nan had to go out to find Yano. The way he said that if it were him Nana would never have to look for him made me feel sorry for him, but all in all I don’t think there is much hope even giving that “she would never have to search for him.”

i have to say that take was absolutely hotness in ep 17 T__T i mean…just how he leaned on the wall and told nana how shes the one who is being obsessed over nana-chan. someone commented “I liked it because someone finally told Nana how hypocritical and dishonest she is.” i reali did thought that it would be yamamoto who would say it but it was actually take @__@ wowerz
i also agree with you Xebek that it was a bit of a shock about Yano’s past @_@ i had an idea that he had father issues as in like…yeah but i wonder wat is the story between his mum and the other guy =x but yeah…i reckon for this problem nana cant help him. i mean there were previews of ep 18 and he said “im sorry that i cant make you happy” i just dont think that…nana is able to understand this problem and it wuld be one of the things that will create more distance between them.

I agree that I’m uneasy about Nana and Yano. I’d like to see them all end up as friends, with a good understanding, but Yano isn’t going to let go of Nana, and she has persuasion issues (she’s easy, not in that way).
Take’s character design definitely looks more appealing, but he’s too much of a ‘good guy’. Some girls like that, but he’s just in a tight spot, he just needs to move on I guess.
