The Terminal Disk was included in the speical edition and it contains movies that are reports written by a former CC Corp employee who was a member of Project G.U. He details in detail the events of seven years ago, as well as what happened on the final day of “The World”, first game.

I won’t give a summary of this so much, as this isn’t the first four games. But below are some points of interest as well as what I thought, as always.

They gave the names of the seven people who went into a coma during the “Morgana Incident” There was Sora (From Sign), Alph (Alberio?), Carl (From Zero), Kazu (BlackRose’s Brother), Orca (Duh), and Sieg (Mai’s Boyfriend), and the seventh already awoke, Tsukasa (Sign)

They gave a scene from Mutation where Kite was in the Net Slum. He was talking to one of the A.I.s and it said how there are some A.I.s that don’t know they are A.I.s. There are those who lost their body in real life, and all that is left is mere memories, faded reminders of the individuals they once were. They ten say how that happened to Harold after Morgana imprisoned him in the network. However my main point of interest is that this could possibly describe what Tri Edge is. If Tri Edge isn’t the real actual Kite being controlled by the same real life person and all, Tri Edge could be the A.I. that is left from the player data.

We then hear the narrator says something about how Skeith had done it; he had merged with the spirit of the player who played as Sora. They show the scene where Kite finds Skeith’s wand and an image of Sora appears saying thank you, and then disappears. He says the player Sora had been imprisoned inside the network, inside Skeith’s staff.

The narrator says that the inspiration for Project G.U. was largely Macha because the Morgana factor, one of the eight phases, took a physical player form of Mia; this meant that it might be possible to put the powers of the phases under player’s control. The thing with Sora showed that the character data can merge with the phases in some how, so that’s why they eventually made characters that would house that power.

We see in the end of Quarantine, Aura sacrificed herself, being killed by Kite’s sword. He says that self sacrifice was the last step in becoming the ultimate A.I. and Aura gained more knowledge then had been seen in humanity and despaired. They then say later on how four years later, the last day of the world, the writer wondered where Aura went. So this means she did disappear for good after Quarantine. They said something about her being integrated into the world

There is a gap of videos on terminal disk after Quarantine up until the last day of the first The World game. They said however sometime during the four years project G.U. tried to do something. However there was a failure of G.U. and the guy writing the reports in the terminal disk resigned from Project G.U. They said G.U. was meant to give them a new god to replace aura but it went up in flames (literally?)

The thing about Aura has me the most interested from the terminal disk. About how after Quarantine Aura was gone from the world. The guy even said the last four years of the world were lacking almost, as they had lost their God, Aura. However Aura didn’t vanish or anything, she became an Ultimate A.I. so I think that it’s almost a case off her being beyond the World. Whether she is or isn’t in the new game is unsure exactly, as they said they did put Harold’s black box in the new game which likely had to deal with Aura and everything.
