This is basically the epilogue to the series, showing what happened to everyone at the end and showing more of the side characters then had previously been focused on.

Summary:
- Yuuichi gets a letter from Mai and Sayuri who are studying abroad. We see how they are doing well, living together and helping each other out with everything.
- We see Nayuki practicing for track. Kaori talks with her and when Nayuki mentions Yuuichi is bring Ayu over, Kaori asks how Yuuichi could do that knowing her feelings but Nayuki says how she is fine, its ok and all, she likes both Yuuichi and Ayu and is fine with tem how they are.
- We see Amino on the hill, she talks to the wind saying how she came to visit, and brought a toy ball. The wind blows the ball away and we see Makoto pick it up.
- Ayu is around town worrying about her new haircut when she runs into Shiori who tells her how it looks fine, and how a girl shouldn’t be judged by her looks anyways.
- Yuuichi is heading to meet up with Ayu and runs into Nayuki. They talk for a bit about the past and how they used to play on a particular playground as kids.
- Yuichi meets up with Ayu which is the part we saw in the series…
- Amino is sitting with Makoto as she plays with the ball. Eventually Amino says how next time she can bring Yuuichi but Makoto says its fine, she can see him anytime. Makoto disappears in a gust of wind and flower petals spread all across the town, looking like snow as we see everyone doing their own thing gazing at this beauty.
Impressions:
Kazahana I think is a nice epilogue to the series. That really is what it is, an epilogue because it actually doesn’t really show anything further then the last episode of the normal series did, it just took the last couple minutes of the last episode and showed what happened toe everyone. Basically it is the epilogue they couldn’t fully fit in the regular series.
Nayuki’s part seemed to mainly show and emphasize how she is ok with Yuuichi and Ayu being together. Kaori even blatantly asked about that and Nayuki said how she is fine, because she likes both Ayu and Yuuichi. The Ayu part was basically what we already saw, except we saw a bit about before she met up with Yuuichi, and Mai’s part was just to show that Mai and Sayuri hadn’t been thrown out of the story. Makoto’s part was the big thing that was surprising. It showed how she wasn’t gone forever gone; she was still a kind of spirit there so it alleviated some of the sadness behind her disappearance.
