Tenma goes over to Harima’s house to help him with his manga, as Yakumo had Tenma go in her place. Tenma does her best to help Harima, as the two of them bond though their work; meanwhile we see Yakumo’s true feelings.

Summary:
- We see Harima working hard on his manga, needing to get it done soon. Someone arrives at the door, thinking its Yakumo because she was going to come over to help; he answers it to find Tenma. Tenma tells him that Yakumo sent her in her stead. Harima is surprised and embarrassed, and lets her in.
- Tenma and Harima stat to work on the manga, but get caught up talking to each other and finding out their similar interests in a TV show.
- We see Yakumo at her house. We find out how she purposely let Tenma go over in her stead, thinking back guessing that Harima has a crush on her but knowing how Tenma has no idea, so wanting to allow them to spend more time together.
- Tenma and Harima keep talking but Harima gets a call finding out his manga is due the next morning so the two of them start to work hard. Tenma says how they must work hard, saying she will work with him which can me misheard as have a relationship. So Harima gets all excited and the two of them work.
- After working, finding out Tenma isn’t helping much, and having some really bad food Tenma made, they go back to work and Tenma falls asleep. Harima places her in his bed and thinks about how he loves her, and has since the day he met her. The misunderstanding causing him to grow his hair out, wear sunglasses, and so on.
- Harima continues working on the rest of his manga, while we see Yakumo at home going though some old photo albums. Yakumo sees a picture in which she is holding a picture book. She remembers that form when she was a kid and finds it, reading it.
- The book is about two friends who were always together, one of them always following the other around. There were times when the one wanted to do other things, but the bigger one didn’t want to and the little one forgot about it and followed him. One day he left the big one, wanting to do other things. The big one said find, but eventually got lonely and went looking for the little one.
- All of a sudden behind Yakumo appears a glowing more child looking Yakumo with long hair, glowing green and flying. She asks Yakumo if this is really alright. That she loves Harima, doesn’t she? Yakumo reacts surprised, but doesn’t deny anything.
Impressions:
Overall I’m really not sure which way the last episode will go. The little question they posed at the end really summarizes what is left to conclude, and from what I understand the question will be answered. “Which way will Harima’s love go?” Eri seems to be out of the picture, so it is down between Yakumo and Tenma. Although one thing I can’t get over is how stubborn everyone is in this show regarding their feelings. I mean, Tenma only has her eyes on Karasuma, Harima only on Tenma. It seems hard for them to make one of those two suddenly realize someone else. Whether it be Tenma noticed Harima and having feelings for him forgetting Karasuma, or Harima forgetting Tenma and realizing Yakumo.
The storybook that Yakumo read seems to really have had a deep meaning. The story wasn’t anything super hilarious or anything, and they focused on it enough for it to be a fairly important metaphor I think. Seemingly, a metaphor involving Yakumo because she was reading it but I couldn’t really connect who Yakumo was in the story, or who was the other person, Tenma or Harima.
Either way the metaphor regarding the storybook, Yakumo obviously has feelings for Harima. There have been hints at it all throughout the story I think and the appearance of the Yakumo spirit thing kind of stated it to Yakumo. Now, I’m not sure if Yakumo herself has realized her feelings for Harima up until the point the spirit thing asked her about it. The thing that really makes me want to cheer for Yakumo is how sweet and innocent she is all the time. She is so kind, always doing things to help others, polite, and so on. I would love for her to end up with Harima, and we may see her d something because the spirit made her realize those feelings.
However, Yakumo not getting Harima is a big possibility for, for the exact same reasons I like her character and want her to win Yakumo is as I said kind, too kind almost. She knows about Harima’s feelings for Tenma, or has a pretty good idea of them, which is why she let Tenma work with him instead of going herself. Although it may be different if Tenma had feelings for Harima and Harima didn’t know, then Yakumo would be more likely to let her sister have her, but still Yakumo’s kindness I think may get in the way of what she truly wants. Thinking only of how Harima feels and not herself.
a little upset that they are gonna depart from the manga, then again i guess they have to :(
o well lets see what 26 is like, right?
