Marller is depressed about not being a good enough demon and when she realizes a mini Hild is still around, she conspirers with her to take down the goddesses.

Summary:

• We see Marller working at a convenience store. She seems to be really into it but all of a sudden it hits her and she questions why herself, a first class demon, is working here and she runs off.
• She whines to her mice minions about how she is a first class demon but is working at a convenience store. The mice say how maybe she should go back to Hell to get some supplies. She says she can’t because she will be laughed at, and Daimakaicho wouldn’t forgive her. We then find out one of the mice is really Hild, well 1/1000^th of her. She explains how this bit was left over from when she went back to Hell, a small child looking version of her.
• Because of Hild’s persuasion, Marller goes out to try and take down the goddesses, but fails after she realizes her Pot of Heresy won’t do anything to Belldandy. Urd makes fun of her saying how she has no talent as a demon and she starts to cry. Eventually Belldandy comforts her and Marller has dinner with them.
• Marller returns home and remembers about Hild. Hild says because she wasn’t able to do anything she will help her out. They go the next day with a lamp that will trap anyone in it who kisses it. They take it to Belldandy’s house and put a spell on it so whoever sees it sees it as something cute and wants to kiss it. They trap Skuld, Urd, the two senpais from Motor Club, Skuld’s friend, Keiichi’s sister, and eventually Keiichi.
• Belldandy comes by but isn’t enchanted by the spell and just takes the lamp inside. She washes it and rubs it which ends up freeing everyone.
• Back at Marller’s Hild is punishing Marller and thinking about Belldandy, how she is more then she expected and she wont’ fall for a trick like that.

Impressions:

Although I had guessed that they would show Hild in this show yet again, I am a bit surprised that they showed her this soon. I thought that maybe she would make an appearance later on as herself but I guess this way they can have in her the show and it will be less serious, following more of the comedy focus. Small Hild didn’t go away at the end of this episode or anything so there is still the likeliness that there will be more involvement.

I thought it was hilarious how Keiichi saw his sister kissing Belldandy. Although that’s not what his sister was seeing when she kissed the lamp I thought it was awesome how they showed the two of them kissing because Keiichi saw the lamp as Belldandy.

One small note, I found it interesting that they repeated the line, “Love can be the greatest weapon, but also the greatest weakness.” Them saying it again at the end when they showed everyone together was really interesting I thought because it has the possibility to come back later on and be important, perhaps showing the side of how it is a weakness later on in the serious, perhaps for the final climax.

Also, as for future speculating, again they mentioned “most like him” although we can assume its Urd’s father they have yet to say that so I think because of its mention again they will have a fairly large focus on it somewhere down the line, well, hopefully they do because I think its an interesting enough story how she and a god got together and so on.
