Hakuoro decides what to do about Kunnekamun when Genjimaru appears before him offering his assistance. Eruruu also deals with what happened in the past between her and the beast.

Summary:
- We see Genjimaru talking to Kuuya, arguing about what they are doing. After not getting much of a response form Kuuya we see Dii walking down the halls and is confronted by Genjimaru. Genjimaru recognizes him, asking how that could be. Dii is able to just zip around Genjimaru, obviously being stronger then he is. The two of them seem to have some history together and when Dii leaves Genjimaru asks himself why he has awoken.
- Hakuoro is in his room and he has a flashback. Moreover, he sees a projection of him as a kind of ghost watching something from his past. Himself in short hair but still mask is sitting in a room with computers all around. He is eventually greeted by a hologram and asked a couple of questions. He then names some girl who is working that the hologram said only has a number for a name.
- We see Genjimaru and Sakuya running from two Avu Kammu chasing them. After hiding Sakuya, Genjimaru faces off against them, able to defeat them. Kurou who was riding along with some soldiers sees this and is impressed greatly. Genjimaru goes to talk to Hakuoro. He says how Kunnekamun is going down path that will only lead to destruction and offers to help him. Hakuoro accepts, realizing that something must be done against Kunnekamun.
- Eruruu is with Hakuoro alone and Hakuoro thanks her for helping him. He thinks back to all the times she has been there for him and asks her to stay by his side forever. Eruruu, remembering the whole deal with her giving everything of herself to the beast to save Aruruu, says yes but sheds a tear knowing she won’t be able to be with him.
- Urutorii comes to talk to Eruruu when she is alone. She talks about some things saying she knows everything, much to Eruruu’s surprise. She refers to her encounter as an encounter with Witsuarunemitea, their god. She says however that her heart is something that only she can give, and basically tells her that no matter the promise she made with god, her heart is still hers that she can give to Hakuoro……even though they are the same thing….
- The troops from Tusukuru return after going out to rescue Kamyu and Urutorii’s father, as they need all the assistance they can to go up against Kunnekamun. However their father, after referring to Hakuoro as Lord, says to Urutorii how she is now the leader of their people, passing on his leader position to her.
Impressions:
Genjimaru surprised me in this episode. Not only with how strong they showed him, able to defeat two Avu Kammu by himself, but also how much initiative he took in changing things. I thought he would play more of a side character then he did, especially in this episode.
Ok, this was one hell of a confusing episode in some parts, but I think I’ve organized my thoughts enough to give what my theories are. First, the scene with Eruruu and Urutorii. Eruruu was all emo about giving herself away to save Aruruu which means that she won’t be able to stay by Hakuoro’s side. However Urutorii basically said that it doesn’t matter what anything or anyone said or did, no contract with whatever beast can change the fact that her heart is her own. Urutorii basically told her that she still has her heart to give to Hakuoro and she can stay with him and so forth.
Now, relating to Urutorii’s talk I got the impression that Hakuoro is Witsuarunemitea. Urutorii talked about how she knew all along about “something” which was likely referring to Hakuoro, either his beast form or just his true identity in the broader scheme of things. She said how Wit is her business to know about. She refers to Wit as God and she also refers to Eruruu’s promise being made to God, therefore saying that Eruruu’s promise to the beast form we saw Hakuoro as was to God. That therefore transfers over to meaning that Hakuoro is God because Hakuoro is Wit.
The other big mystery is again Hakuoro (surprise, surprise) but it’s about his whole origin, and us seeing him in a futuristic world. We saw him being called Iceman in this episode. Now, I’m unsure of if this flashback that Hakuoro saw came before or after timeline wise the other event we saw him when him got shot. We didn’t really get any more information about the fossil of the beast in this one, but I’m kind of guessing this takes place before, and that the guy who shot him was the one in the hologram. The only reason he was shot was because he found something out, not because of anything else.
Although this still brings up the question of his origin, perhaps the iceman thing means he was found in ice. My guess now is that they found the fossil of the beast in the ice. After getting it, Hakuoro kind of came out of it or whatever which would explain a bit why they were monitoring him and so forth. However if that means his beast thing came from the past because it was in ice, then where does the world we normally see him in come into place? Is it another world? If it’s in the past that means that Hakuoro dies and dies as a beast and not with Eruruu after living a happy life or anything. Although if after getting shot he didn’t die and appeared in the world we see, how come it’s so primitive? My best, hopeful, guess is that this world we see now is like a different dimension because that would mean that after all this is over Hakuoro won’t get frozen in ice and then shot and die, it means that already happened except for the dieing part.
Dii defiantly seems to be what the final mystery/conflict will center on it seems. Hakuoro too or course, and his past, but as for antagonists Dii seems to be the one. He seems to be godlike, he was able to just teleport around almost Genjimaru, and Genjimaru referred to him awakening which gives the idea of him being so powerful he had to be asleep at one point. My guess is that He could be the opposite of Hakuoro. They talked about two gods, being enemies of each other. Could Hakuoro be one, and Dii the other? I get this theory from the ED. They show a painting of two beasts, opposite colors, facing off towards one another. This implies to me the importance in the show of two powerful beings. One thought is that Dii is the guy who shot Hakuoro in the flashback, which could still mean all the things about him being a god-half and Hakuoro being another.
