The location of the Maihama server has been found by the Gards Orm so Kyo and Ryoko rush to protect it, while Lu Sheng interrogates Shizuno over dinner about who leaked the information to the enemy.

Summary:

• We see Shizuno and Lu Sheng sitting down to dinner, served by May Yu and May Yin. Lu Sheng says he has brought Shizuno here to question her. We see a shot of Shizuno in the ZegaTank, transferring down to where the Maihama server is, staring at it.
• Lu Sheng gets a report from May Yu that some information is being transmitted and received by all ships, about the location of the Maihama server. We see on the Oceanus everyone working and they say how the location of where the Maihama server has been leaked to the enemies. Kyo is in disbelief. Shima comes in and the A.I. asks if he knows the situation. They then get reports of the Anti Zega moving in on the location. He kind of nods and Kyo says he is going to stop Anti Zega.
• Lu Sheng questions Shizuno on who leaked out the information of where the server is. He says it’s either her or Shima, and he says he checked the logs and she visited the server yesterday. Shizuno doesn’t deny this, but seems calm and unworried. She stand sup saying she hast o go see Kyo, but seems surprised and Lu Sheng’s icon lights up. He says her icon has been locked; she isn’t going anywhere right now.
• The Altair chases after Anti Zega as it dives into the building that has the server. He tries to chase it and fight it, but it gets ahead of him. Eventually it gets to the server room and is about to touch it, everyone on the Oceanus nervous and worried, but Shima remaining calm. Anti Zega is about to touch the server, Shima almost anticipating this, when Kyo bursts in and fights Anti Zega.
• Shima tells Kyo to let the enemy touch it, if they touch a quantum server they can receive information the enemy that they need. Kyo says he doesn’t care; he won’t let all he knows disappear just for that, even though Shima is commanding him to do so. Ryoko tells Kyo of some small quantum server on the fist of the Zega, if eh can puncture the Anti Zega with it; they won’t have to let the server be damage. Kyo Fights the Anti Zega and manages to stick it in, collecting data for the Oceanus.
• The Anti Zega backs up against the wall as Kyo collects its data, and it pulls down some wire. Someone on the Oceanus says if that wire is destroyed then the server will blow up. The Anti Zega starts a self destruct and Shima yells at Kyo to get out of there. He won’t but Shima force transfers him, and a huge explosion destroys all of Maihama.
• Lu Sheng is horrified; getting the news of this but is confused as to why he is still here. Shizuno just says how the server was destroyed but he didn’t disappear. Lu Sheng asks how the hell that is. Kyo and Ryoko are back on the Oceanus, crying at what they think is the loss of everything they know.

Impressions:

Ok, one thing that I kept thinking is why the hell Shima didn’t just tell Kyo that they moved the server? I mean, he doesn’t have to tell him where or anything if the whole issue is keeping it a secret, but it would have allowed for there not to be so much conflict when he told Kyo to do something vital to their operation and he refused. Again, I could have understood not telling him up until the point where he confronted Anti Zega in front of the server, otherwise it defiantly would have seemed to easy and Abyss wouldn’t’ have fell for it. However after the point they were fighting and Shima was yelling at him to let him touch it, he could have told him then that they moved the server and the people wouldn’t disappear.

My guess is they moved it to the moon. I mean, from the preview they said it to humans, this place is the safest and most dangerous. That mostly fits with the moon, because it’s safe because nothing is there to get in the way, but it’s away from the normal and dangerous because of how far away it is from everything. Also at the beginning of the first episode it showed Shizuno and Kyo on the moon briefly, so it could have been moved then or something, although that doesn’t explain where Shima and Shizuno went a couple episodes back, but we will find out soon enough I guess.

One other small mystery, and it might not be anything that big, but how did Lu Sheng stop Shizuno from going anywhere? Shizuno stood up saying she needed to go see Kyo but seemed surprised and Lu Sheng said that he had locked her Celebrant icon. How does he have the power to do that? I still think that he might have something to do with that guy who invented the servers in the first place because he seemed to know a lot about it, perhaps his son. It would explain his powers, but maybe I’m reading too much into this.
