Tension rises between Nana and Yano to increase their relationship, and Yano answers Nana’s question about if anything happened between him and Yuri in the past.

Summary:

• Nana and Yano are together and after being interrupted by Nan’s mom. Nana asks Yano the question again if anything happened between him and Yuri. Yano avoids the question a bit, not quite answering but he basically says nothing happened between them, which is a lie.
• The next day at school Nan tells Take he was right about nothing happening between them. Take doesn’t look too happy but says that’s good
• Nana’s friends keep asking her if anything has happened between her and Yano. She says no but the tension is rising for them to do something, and she can see how it is effecting Yano as in classes he uses sex as an example.
• After school, Yano goes over to Take’s house to borrow a book. He says how he is sitting next to Yuri now and Take says that must be interesting. Yano kind of laughs it off saying what is with asking about that. Take confronts him, saying he knows something did happen between them, as he saw them walk home holding hands that one day. He asks how he could do something like that with her little sister.
• Nana goes over to Yano’s house after school to study; having been told his parents would be there. On the bus ride over she seems mad, not looking at him and keeping some distance. They arrive at his house to find a not form his mom saying she wont be back until late evening, and Yano just tells Nana this is a coincidence, meaning it.
• The two of them study, some tension between them but Yano says he wont’ do anything. Nana says how they are together in the kitchen it feels like they are married. Nana tells Yano how his parents got together in high school and got married after dating for 10 years. Yano says that’s hard to believe and it kind of shocks Nana. She thinks to herself how that’s true, one day it might not be her who is with Yano ten years down the road. She says how she is scared to get closer because she will feel lonelier without him. Nana asks him if it’s true he had sex with his ex girlfriend in the school gym and he says yes. She says she won’t blame him or anything for what happened in the past. Eventually she says that she is ready and Yano thinks she is joking about sex and all but finds out she is serious.

Impressions:

This show has started to really get deep into the different aspects of relationships, which is really interesting I think. Nana kept talking about how she was fearing getting closer because the more she did, the more lonely she felt at the thought that they wouldn’t be together forever, that in ten years it may not be her who is next to Yano and so on. This show has a lot of potential for drama too, as there hasn’t been any huge substantial event yet, but hey are building up to one a lot so it will likely be big and affect the story a lot.

I have to say I loved the part where Yano was in class and he read the sentence in English, coming up with another phrase for make friends with her as have sex with her, then when he was asked to says something else he said “Fuck Her’ that was hilarious, even if it wasn’t for the situation him and Nana was in it was still funny.

The issue with Yuri is still building up. We saw again in this episode signs that Yuri still has feelings for him when she kind of nudged him to wake him up for the question in class. The major point of drama, however, is that Yano didn’t tell Nana that anything happened between him and Yuri, even though we know for a fact that they did.

Take again was interesting in this episode, and I’m more and more sure that he has feelings for Nana. He noticed what she did to her hair and said she was cute, and Yano didn’t even say anything about that. Also he seemed to kind of feel bad for her that Yano didn’t tell her anything happened, and even questioned Yano about it, only bringing it up after he found out that he lied to her.
