Hakuoro deals with the news that a rebellion group from where Karura comes from is struggling and decides what to do when Karura asks him for his assistance.

Summary:
We start off seeing some rebel group attack a group of soldiers who are escorting some slaves. The rebels manage to win, freeing the slaves and they celebrate their victory as the soldiers retreat. We then see Hakuoro, eating a meal with everyone; Eruruu, Touka, Benawi, Kamyu, etc. Kamyu and Kurou are surprised at how much Aruruu is eating and Touka is diligently searching though all the food for poison. A messenger comes in and gives a note to Benawi. He tells Hakuoro that some people in Natunk have begun a rebellion on another country. Hakuoro says how that’s the country that Karura is from. Benawi says however they seem to be having problems so they may fail. That night, Hakuoro is looking off his balcony when Karura comes up, dressed in a beautiful dress with her hair down. She bows down and says she came here because she has a favor to ask him. The two of them sit down together and have a drink and Hakuoro comments how much a piece of clothing can change things. Hakuoro asks if this is about the rebellion and she says yes. He says how he can’t get involved and drag this country in a war but Karura says how she is willing to give him everything, and would die if he commanded if he helped. Hakuoro gives in saying he will give them assistance and Karura thanks him, saying that she will give him herself in return. Hakuoro tries to say that isn’t’ necessary gut Karura says she won’t accept something without giving something back in return. She takes off her dress so she is just in underwear and starts to mount Hakuoro. Just then Eruruu comes in with some tea for Hakuoro and sees this. She just stops and walks backwards out of the room saying nothing. The next morning when everyone is eating together Hakuoro tries to talk with Eruruu but she just avoids him and thought the next couple of days completely avoids talking to him.
One night, Hakuoro wakes up to find himself tied up and being carried by Karura over her shoulder. She says how they are going to go help the group now. When Karura reaches outside the mansion she runs into Urutorii and Hakuoro thinks she will help him but she just says she will accompany him. Sooner or later everyone starts gathering around him, Aruruu, Kamyu, Yuzuha, Eruruu, and Touka and they all decide to go along with him, leaving Benawi, Kurou, and Oboro at the castle. They all take a wagon and head off to Natunk. Along the way, Urutorii notices tension between Eruruu and Hakuoro so she gets the two of them to sit together. They talk and Hakuoro explains how it was just a misunderstanding that she saw and nothing happened. Eruruu seems relieved and they continue on. Eventually they stop as Mukuru seems to sense danger. Touka says how it looks like they are surrounded. Hakuoro, Karura and Touka get out and the leader of the rebellion stands before them, with the same tail and ears that Karura has. Behind him an elderly man sees Karura and seems shocked. The man says he is the leader of the rebellion army of Karurauwaterei. He asks who Hakuoro is and he says they are just wandering; they have seen many battles and wish to help in their rebellion. The guy says how they don’t need help from outsiders and tells them to be on their way. That night, everyone has made camp somewhere and Karura is looking out over the cliff and Hakuoro comes up to her. They talk and we hear that the leader of the rebellion is Karura’s little brother. He says how it doesn’t seem like they want their help and all of a sudden someone comes riding up. It is the elderly man from before and he bows before Karura, calling her Karurauwateri-sama. She says it’s been a long time, and that he seems to have raised “him” well. Just then Hakuoro sees out in the forest a fire and asks what that is. The old man freaks out saying it can’t be and we see it is the rebels’ base being attacked by the enemy because a man betrayed them to try and see his wife and children. Touka, Urutorii and Karura come to the rescue though, saving the rebels. The leader says that he is glad the traitor is dead and Karura gets pissed and punches him saying he needs to look from others point of view. He says he is a member of some race, like her, and shouldn’t need to view things from a weakling point of view. Karura says that’s why that race became almost extinct. She says she will teach him a lesson and drops her sword. She makes one punch in air and hit sends him flying. He is on the ground and Hakuoro, Karura, Touka, Urutorii, and the old man approach him. Hakuoro offers him his hand to help him. He just gets up himself and stagers away.
Impressions:
Ok, so we got some information on Karura’s past and that she used to have one hell of a long name but went with Karura. The one thing I was a bit confused with is if Karura’s brother noticed she was his sister. She called her a whatever name from whatever race or tribe saying how they are powerful and such which shows he knows about her but didn’t act like she was his sister or do any sort of surprised you’re alive? Or you’re here thing. My guess is he noticed form his looks that she belongs to the same race as him which is how he knew about her strength and could say those things. Asides form the information about Karura and all; this episode was awesome just from the first half of it that was all peaceful and calm with mostly being comedy. I was amazed at Karura in a dress; she just stunned me looking like that and defiantly looked completely different. The whole part with Karura kidnapping Hakuoro and everyone just going along with it was hilarious also, instead of helping and freeing him they just went along with him still being bound. The other thing that shocked me was Urutorii helping out in battle. She actually used magic and all which completely threw me as they haven’t really shown a heavy use of magic at all up until this point and Urutorii doesn’t seem the kind to fight.
Hmm, I don’t know about the whole title for next episode “The Parting” While I optimistically think, and actually best guess is that the parting means it’s between Karura and her brother and clan and all after Hakuoro and co. help them out, it could mean that Karura parts from Hakuoro which would really suck. Although I think that Karura will likely stay with Hakuoro because there is no longer a guess that he could perhaps be some love interest because he is her brother and I don’t think this is that kind of show. My, hopeful, guess is that she will stay with Hakuoro and the parting will be between her and her brother as after whatever conflict they will resolve something between them so their parting wont be sour or anything like that.
yea tha parting doesnt sound too happy hope its not between karurua n hakruror
