Saito learns of Siesta’s forced employment to work for a sleaze of a Noble and goes off to try and rescue her.

Summary:
We start off seeing the principal signing something and giving it to a man who stands before him. He thanks the principal and heads off and the secretary addresses him as Count Mott. After he is gone she asks what he wanted and he just says was warning them about a thief that is after magical objects since they have some powerful item at the school, even though it is protected by powerful magic and sorcerers. At night, Saito is outside in the cold washing Louise’s clothes. He is struggling with doing so and Siesta come sup. She helps him out, showing him how to do it. She says how she admires him, because he is a commoner but never gives up and such. He heads off to give the clothes to Louise but is stopped in the hallway by Kirche. She pulls him in and offers him the sword she got for free as a gift. When he finds out she just likes him because he seems crude and dull and things like that, he leaves and she tries to give him other stuff but he refuses. Kirche pins him o the ground, trying to seduce him when Louise comes in and saves him, bringing him back to her room. There, Louise whips him as punishment for falling for Kirche’s trap.
The next morning, we see Siesta leaving the school in a carriage. Louise tells Saito how he is to stay outside like the other familiars during class now, because he snores in class and tries to look up girls skirts. Louise heads off for class and Saito tries to sit around with all the other animals but gets up to leave, and heads for the kitchen. He runs into the chef and after getting some food and asking where Siesta is, he learns that she has been forcefully hired by another noble, Count Mott. That evening, Saito asks Louise why Siesta would work for a man like Count Mott and Louise says she probably had no choice, and that usually when a man like that hires a young girl as a servant, she is also to become his mistress. Saito freaks out saying he can’t let something like that happen. Saito heads out saying he is going to do some chore for Louise and he finds Guiche and asks him where Count Mott’s castle is. At dinner, Louise is wondering where Saito is as the job he said he was doing shouldn’t take this long. Guiche tells her he asked where Count Mott’s place is. Saito arrives at Mott’s castle and is taken inside when he is found by the guards. Saito begs Mott to allow Siesta to return to the castle. When the Count says no Saito gets pissed and yells at him, insulting him. Mott gets angry and the guards hold their spears up to him. Siesta comes running in and kneels before Mott saying to forgive Saito’s rudeness, that she will take his punishment. Saito is intent on not giving up and Mott says since he said he will do anything, that there is one thing he wants. He says how he has a book collection but there is one book he wants that was summoned here from another world. It belongs to the family that Kirche is in and Saito says he will get it and heads back off to the academy. He runs into Louise as she is heading for him and Louise yells at him, taking him back. Louise prepares for bed and Louise tells Saito there isn’t anything he can do against Mott, that he is much more powerful then Guiche who he beat. Saito just says yes and that he won’t do anything.
When Louise is asleep he gets up and goes to Kirche’s room, asking for the book that is her family treasure. Kirche says in exchange for the book, he has to go out with her and Saito seems disgusted with her for not just helping him and Siesta and heads off, taking the sword she was going to give him before. Saito heads off on a horse to Mott’s place and Tabitha hears the commotion outside and sees him ride off. She tells Kirche and the two of them wake up Louise to tell her that Saito is gone. She says how he brought the sword and Louise flips out saying if a commoner draws his sword at a noble…At the mansion, Saito tries to sneak in but is caught and brought in by the guards. He is brought before Mott and tells him how he doesn’t’ have the book, but to let Siesta go. He draws his sword and the guards raise their weapons to protect Mott. He says how he has never met a commoner as stupid as him and we see Louise, Kirche, and Tabitha on Tabitha’s familiar flying to the mansion, them saying how if a commoner draws a sword on a noble then he will be executed on the spot. Mott takes some water and attacks Saito with it using magic, turning it into kind of spears and sending them at him. Louise barges in and saves Saito from the last one by blowing it up. Louise apologizes for her familiars behavior and so forth and Mott says how this is a serious, tat this will go on her houses name. Kirche interrupts and ask if they can forget all this happened, and pulls out the book he wanted and gives it to him. He opens it but and it turns out to be a porn magazine, but one summoned from Saito’s world as it is written in Japanese. He returns Siesta and they all return back to the academy. Siesta thanks Saito for all his help and not giving up and gives him a kiss on the cheek as she runs off. Louise just says ho she is going to punish him for his behavior and Saito begs her not to.
Impressions:
This was really mainly a Siesta episode, and my guess is because they are trying to get her main part out of the way. It seemed a bit rushed and all and my guess is that Siesta won’t play that big of a role for the rest of the series. I mean she will be in it and I’m not saying she wont’ be there a lot, but after this episode it seems like she will just take a backseat, being there to mainly make Louise a bit jealous which could spark her realizing feelings and such. She will likely become just like Kirche, after Saito just like she is which mainly gets in Louise’s way. Although Louise won’t seem to have much of a rivalry with her or anything, she will probably serve to make her jealous.
I find it a bit surprising that Louise hasn’t shown a bit more of her other side, caring for Saito in a non master/servant kind of way. So far she has done stuff like take the punishment for him and all, but mostly this is still typical stuff that she as a master would have to do for her familiar. With how short of a series this is they probably will, or should, show a bit more of Louise having feelings for Saito even if she as a character doesn’t realize them yet. Next episode it looks like Saito saves Louise by endangering himself but again that is something that any familiar would do so it’s not entirely out of the ordinary as to spark something in Louise so I’m unsure of when we will see that. With Siesta haven’t this big of a part like I said she will likely be there to make Louise jealous which could be what really sparks the feelings in her to show.
One more thing they talked about but didn’t go too much into was the whole reason that the Count was at the school in the first place, to warn them about a thief. The thief is Fuuka the Crumbling Dirt and my guess that I’m like 90 percent sure of is that it is the secretary. We see next episode the giant earth golem thing, which is likely a familiar, and that would fit with the title Crumbling Dirt. Not only did from the OP because of the hair the person with the golem look like the secretary, but also she seemed to take particular notice and interest when the principal talked about the treasure that they have at the school.
boring episode, i thought saito would kick some ass.. but i guess things dont always hapen the way u want . but next weeks episode seem to be a good one
