Harima is kicked out of Tenma’s place when Tenma thinks he is just a perverted monkey so Harima ends up staying at Mikoto’s dojo while Eri is there as well.

Summary:

We start off briefly seeing Itoko on her skiing trip along with the art teacher who she is friends with. They see an amazing good skier in a huge snowman outfit which turns out to be Karasuma. Back in the town, Harima finds himself tied up and sleeping outside when he wakes up in the morning. Yakumo asks Tenma where Harima is and she says she doesn’t know, as she sharpens a knife saying to herself how Harima is a perverted monkey who tried to sneak into Yakumo’s room last night. Harima comes in and asks if anyone know why he was sleeping outside, as he remembered going to sleep in his room. Tenma just plays dumb and Harima then finds his stuff outside. Tenma says that he is to stay out here now and to never come near Yakumo in the house again. They both try to tell her she has misunderstood something but Tenma won’t budge. That night, Harima goes to Tenma’s room to clear everything up and tell her everything but Tenma just thinks he is after her now and kicks him out of the house for good. Harima is wandering downtown, yelling at a statue to get his frustration out when Mikoto walks by. She asks him what he is doing and eventually he explains his situation, how he has no where to stay the whole winter holiday. She invites him to stay at her dojo and eventually he does.

At Mikoto’s dojo, she sets Harima up in a room and then goes back to hers, in which Eri is waiting apparently also staying the night. Harima gets up because he wants to go get something to eat, as Mikoto said he could. He has to wear a workers uniform however without his sunglasses so he changes and heads to the kitchen. He runs into Eri there who doesn’t recognize him has Harima. To keep up the deception of being a worker so Eri doesn’t find out about him, he ends up delivering tea to Mikoto and her room, and Mikoto wonders what he is doing. After doing more worker related stuff to fool Eri, he tries to get out as he doesn’t want her to find out. Mikoto stops him, saying how he really does look different then normal in those clothes. She says she has to go out and asks him to watch the house, as she can’t leave Eri alone by herself. Harima stays and ends up helping Eri reach the laundry hanging up that’s too high for her. Mikoto returns and after her and Eri practice some martial arts; Mikoto heads off to take her bath first. She then realizes she has to give Harima his food and eventually when Eri thinks Mikoto is done, she heads into the bath and sees a figure in there, assuming its Mikoto but it turns out to be Harima, she just doesn’t realize it. Eri starts talking to Harima, Harima stiff and scared as to what to do, fearing being discovered. Mikoto walks by the outside and peers in seeing the situation and wonders what to do. Eri asks him a question and he tries to bluff his way through it but when he says something embarrassing, Mikoto throws something at him from outside. They talk in sign language, Harima asking for help getting out. Mikoto ends up talking for him, finishing the conversation with Eri. They talk and find out that Eri has an arranged marriage that she doesn’t want to go though with but doesn’t know what to do. Eri starts to get in the bath part where Harima is and he tries to find a way to stop her because at that close distance she would be able to tell. He makes an air bubble with his towel and Eri thinks it is a fart so she leaves. Afterwards, Mikoto throws things at Harima yelling at him for making Eri think she did that. As the others go to bed, Harima works into the night on his manga when after Asou comes to the door and Harima gets him to leave, Eri’s butler comes. Mikoto comes and tells him not to tell him Eri is here, as she obviously seems distressed and has run away. Eri comes by and says its alright, that she will go but Mikoto flips out saying she can’t do that and drags Harima and Eri to the garage and puts them on a motorcycle telling the to get away. They do and ride off together, Eri still oblivious to Harima’s identity.

Impressions:

This episode was just amazing. It had me laughing so hard at points I had to pause in the middle and just wait because of how funny it was. The entire time Harima was at Mikoto’s was just hilarious, not just the bath scene or anything, but the whole Harima having to pretend to be a worker and Mikoto laughing at both him and Eri because Eri didn’t notice it was him. I felt so sorry for Harima with all the misunderstandings at Tenma’s house. It was just one after another but this way he ended up interacting with Mikoto and Eri which was nice too since they are featured a bit less then Tenma. The other thing I loved is the seiyuu for Haruhi who apparently does the art teacher was featured in this episode, the girl who was skiing with Itoko. That was awesome hearing her voice and defiantly sounded like Haruhi.

Next episode seems to be mainly an entirely Eri and Harima episode which is nice because they seemed to neglect that relationship so far when they had a fairly large part about it near the end of the first season. Although I still don’t think that Harima is going to end up with anyone in the end because I just don’t’ think its that kind of show, that they will leave everything rather open as terms of permanent parings, Eri is one of my top choices for seeing Harima with. Tenma seems kind of just out of there, although Harima seems completely set on her so I don’t’ think she is just going to go away, Yakumo seems basically not wanting to be in a relationship, which leaves Eri who likes Harima and we’ve seen the moments between them. Well, again I don’t’ think they are going to end with any real pairings but the Eri x Harima action I’m looking forward to.
