Ok guys…..after seeing your replies….i wanna add my few bits.

We all cried in the end!!! did not like the ending too much but that cannot be changed.

After destroying the holy grail….saber is shown to be in her own era…..what i think is that …when Saber is shown to wake up…she has already come out of a near death….and at that time he becomes the servant of shirou…cuz she was almost dead….then she said to throw the sword away….and she she goes dead again….but for this time she goes to avalon!!!

Plz dont apply any logic cuz this is just an anime and we do not have to be so serious abt it…..although i said this but i did cry.

Hmm….who got any idea when fate hollow ataraxia will be released?As I watch in youtube,it is a continuation of fate stay night.My friend told me the show still in progress but I don’t no when only got.I also don’t no where to check the latest news.If anyone got news about it,please inform me.THX.I really cant wait to watch the continuation.

Actually, Saber not being dead really goes to help explain one of the mysteries of Fate/Stay Night. Of all the servants of all the Holy Grail Wars, Saber is the only one who cannot assume “Spirit Form.” You see Archer do this a couple of times; it’s the turning invisible thing. Servants are able to do this because they are spirits. Only Saber is the exception. If she was really not dead, then it would make sense, as she isn’t a pure spirit yet.

Just a thought. Maybe it’s clarified somewhere else.

Errr….Dont quarrel about that.Now who knows when got ataraxia?Your can go and watch the game opening at youtube.Saber is back.Just let it be natural.Since my friend knows that the show is in progress,just hope that the story is good.Dont care about the show title,watch the content inside is more important.But i can gurantee is a continuation.In ataraxia,got a new master and new servant name Avenger,the summary there stated that it is half a year after fate stay night.Just go to youtube and watch 1st about the opening.He He.But anyone knows where to search for the latest information?

First off, that doesn’t prove anything. How do you even form this logic. Because she Shirou doesn’t know the spell means she is dead? That just isn’t good deducting skills.

How does it even begin to make sense that she is dead. As I said before, did she somehow die for her dream and then come back to life and then die? In her time line she was alive, was injured and passed out/slept and dreamed, then she woke up from that dream that was obviously about Shriou, then died again. It makes no sense to say she died because that means she would have actually came back to life.

None of this can be proven so don’t act like you know this for sure, but from putting the pieces together it just doesn’t match up at all that she would be dead.

If u see in episode 1 and 2 when Saber showed up for the first time to protect Shiro from Lancer, Rin asked Shiro to do a spell to make Saber become invisible but Shiro did not know how to do it. Both Rin and Saber were shocked because assuming Shiro as a master, he must has that ability. It proved that Saber can be invisible and totally have died.

Well, all of this is a little subject as some of its not ever distinctly said. I was thinking of that same thing, and I’m not sure as I didn’t remember it saying in the game and its certainly not stated in the anime, as going by just the anime its unsure about her status of being in a dream or not. I would guess that it was all one long dream for both Shirou and his father, after all time span doesn’t have to be the same. She could be passed out/sleeping in her time for 10 minutes during which all this takes place.

In any event, its never distinctly said, but I’m sure that she wasn’t dead when she became a servant for Shirou. I’ve even heard some say that is the reason she couldn’t go invisible, she couldn’t go into a spirit mode because she wasn’t dead. It didn’t seem like a spell at all to make the servants go invisible, and it would make sense that the reason she can’t go invisible is because she’s not dead.

It also doesn’t seem to fit in a timeline for her to be dead. After all she died after she woke up from the dream, if she was dead it would mean she had her dream after…her dream, or that when she was dreaming she was dead and somehow came back from the dead to die again.

But if she just had a dream with Shiro, how could she become the servant for Shiro’s father? Is it because she had a dream with Shiro’s father too?

I’m sorry but you’re wrong. Saber was an exception to the servants being dead. She was severely hurt and when passed out and almost dead is when she had the “dream” with Shirou. She died for the first time and final time after her dream with Shirou and under that tree. She did know Shirou after the dream. She was alive, had the dream with Shirou which was real for Shirou’s time line, and then she returned and died.

The other servants of course are dead, as it talked about that but in the game they do distinctly point out that Saber was an exception to the rule.
