Yuu goes to find Shinn when she is captured by Cellaria. We see some more history between Shinn and Yuu and Shinn’s loyalty to Cellaria.

Summary:

We start off with Shuuhei in Cellaria’s hold, as he is tied to a chair in the command room. He sees some visions before he wakes up of Nanami asking Nao questions. When he wakes up Cellaria is there. Cellaria mentions how she has never seen a subject evolve to a stage that Shuuhei has in regards to the Sukyura cells. They say that he has a high chance of being a perfect Sukyura. Meanwhile Yuu has arrived in Hamal and is heading towards the control room. She encounters some Sukyura soldiers but manages to kill them. She is ambushed by more but still manages to kill them all and she makes her way into the control room. Meanwhile Nanami is trying to figure out what happiness is, as she heard the term but doesn’t’ know what it means. Eventually Morimoto tries to explain it to her as being together with those most important to you. She gets really confused and runs off saying how mother isn’t with Shuuhei though. Nao and Morimoto find Nanami and explain that it is ok; Nao believes in Shuuhei and thinks he will be fine.

Yuu finally breaks into the control room, pointing a gun at Cellaria when she breaks in. She sees Shuuhei tied to the chair and then sees Shinn. Yuu asks Shinn what he is doing with Cellaria and Cellaria says that ever since she saved his sister, he has been her servant. Yuu yells that she is lying and shoots Cellaria three times in the head. It doesn’t do anything to her as the injuries automatically heal. Yuu is then taken by the soldiers and confined. Meanwhile, Aki is trying to work on the computer but keeps getting errors. Kazuhiko tells her she needs to rest but Aki yells at him telling him that he doesn’t know what she needs. After Karen buts in Aki finally decides that she will take a short break. Ryouta is taking a shower and reflecting on a flashback of him talking with Shuuhei on the station. Shuuhei asks him if he loves Sayaka and Ryouta basically says yes but he hasn’t confessed. Ryouta shakes off the memory saying now isn’t’ the time and heads out, running into Aki who is heading in to take a shower, much to Ryouta’s embarrassment.

Back at the control room Cellaria is taunting Yuu, saying how she will make a fine Sukyura soldier. When she is about to infect her, Shinn can’t hold back remembering how Yuu and him used to be close and he runs forth and tackles Cellaria, cutting Yuu free. He tells Yuu to run and Yuu frees Shuuhei and the two of them head to the door. Shinn gets shot by Cellaria and then he is infected with Sukyura cells. As he suffers there Yuu can’t let that happen and goes to try and save him. She is beaten but the injured Shuuhei shots the soldiers and tackles Cellaria up against the wall telling Yuu and Shinn to run. The two of them escape from the control room and make their way through the halls, running from the Sukyura chasing them. While escaping, Shinn tells Yuu how when he found his sister, she was almost dead and Cellaria saved her which is why he helped her with things from then on. When Shuuhei passes out Nanami seems to instantly know something is wrong and she runs to the control room and messes with some things to get a shot of a camera, showing Yuu in a firefight against a horde of Sukyura, back against a door and about to die. Karen, Kazuhiko, and Ryouta open the door behind them, coming to their rescue. As Shinn is up against the wall on the other side of the door, Nanami comes up asking if he is ok, seeing the bullet wound in his shoulder. She touches his shoulder and it is instantly healed.

Impressions:

Ok, I think now even more that Nanami is super weird and un-normal. I’m unsure of whether she got rid of the Sukyura in Shinn or just healed his wound, either way she did some weird thing when healing him. She also seems to have a telepathic connection to Shuuhei because when he passed out she was instantly aware something was wrong and pointed out on the cameras that Shinn and Yuu were in trouble. I’m thinking that because Shuuhei is infected with Sukyura but is special because he isn’t controllable that him having sex with Nao produced Nanami in a way that would be different then a normal kid cause she kind of appeared at the age of six or so.

We got more history behind Shinn and Yuu and learned that there is more of a romance relationship between the two of them even though they haven’t seen each other in a long time. Shinn played a huge part in this episode, influencing why Yuu went there and unsure of whether Shinn will continue to be a part of this, it all depends really on if Nanami healed just his wound or took out the Sukyura cells as well. Either way Shinn will probably remain a reason for Yuu to fight either for revenge or to protect him.

We also got a bit of advancement of the relationship between Sayaka and Ryouta, as we saw a flashback of Ryouta talking with Shuuhei and basically admitting he loved her but he hasn’t confessed. Although not a focus, it is likely to be the prominent part of a few episodes in the future. I was surprised at the shower scene in this episode, although classic bit from a romance/comedy anime with misunderstandings, this show has almost strayed completely away from that except for this part.
