We get a bit more drama in this episode as a misunderstanding leads to an advancement in the relationship between Hazumu and Tomari.

Summary:

We start off with Hazumu saying she has four tickets to go to the water park with Yasuna, Tomari and Ayuki. Tomari however can’t go because she has track and field training camp this week and Hazumu then finds out Ayuki can’t go either because she has some thing she has to do so it ends up to just be Yasuna and Hazumu. They decide to go and when Yasuna talks to Tomari before she leaves and asks if this is ok because of the whole truce thing they have going as to not hurt Hazumu Tomari says its fine, she trusts Yasuna and that they are friends.

At the water park Yasuna and Hazumu head in and have fun together, looking at all the attractions and the sea animals in all the tunnels they have. They reach a tunnel that is dark with a lot of glowing fish and the mood is really romantic as they see couples around them all really close. Yasuna gets kind of embarrassed and grabs onto Hazumu’s arm for a bit but remembers her talk with Tomari and lets go saying they should come here again with everyone. Before they leave they are at the gift shop looking for a present for everyone, including Tomari who is hard to shop for. They decide on something and say they should bring it to her at her training camp so they take the train there to give it to her.

They arrive at the station and Yasuna waits on the bench while Hazumu calls Tomari for her to pick them up so they don’t get lost. While doing so a male train attendant comes up to Yasuna telling her how there is a train coming soon so to make sure she doesn’t cross the tracks. Of course, Yasuna with her yurivision gets kind of frightened and doesn’t know what to do. Hazumu sees this and runs over and holds her to calm her down and comfort her, just when Tomari arrives and sees this, thinking they are embracing each other out of love. She hides but when she overhears Hazumu asking where Tomari is. She kind of gets a hold of herself and tries to smile and come out to bring them to the camp.

They give her the gift but it turns out there are no more trains back till morning so they are stuck at her dorm for the camp until morning. Eventually the all go to sleep but Tomari can’t sleep thinking of all the things and heads outside. Hazumu not quite asleep sees Tomari leaving and follows her. Outside Hazumu approaches Tomari and they get to talking. Tomari says things like how even though she and Yasuna are trying to just be friends with Hazumu, from what she saw she thinks Yasuna can’t surpass her feelings and neither can she. She lets her hair down and then goes in and kisses Hazumu, when Yasuna arrives at the scene after having seen both their beds empty. Yasuna now thinks it’s Tomari who broke their deal and the episode ends.

Impressions:

It was nice to see a big step forward in this episode. Tomari kissing Hazumu was great as it was actually an end to the whole everything is fine as long as we are all friends crap. Although it seemed to be a misunderstanding Tomari was seeing, Hazumu and Yasuna holding each other it prompted her to do that while leaving Yasuna feeling betrayed as well. So now not only do we have an advancement of Tomari and Hazumu, we have some drama between Tomari and Yasuna that will most likely have a huge impact on the episodes to come.

Having this episode leave off in a kind of drama moment I think we will see some drama heavy episodes to follow, easing up on the comedy and mostly focusing on the relationships now that the truce you could say Tomari and Yasuna had is off, even though they both feel it was the other one who broke it. We haven’t dealt that much about Yasuna’s yurivision so I think we will get focusing on that which may prompt to Hazumu leaning towards Yasuna because of her need for her with her problem.
