A more exciting episode with Shinji showing his true colors and a fight between Saber and Rider.

Summary:
We start off with Shirou and Saber having morning sword practice. Shirou obviously is loosing horribly but it gets to the end and Rin comes in. Rin says its time for him to practice with her now. Shirou kind of objects saying he is exhausted but Rin insists and has him try to reinforce more lamps. While Shirou is reinforcing lamps, Rin is headed off somewhere when she peeks into the shed area Shirou has in the back. She sees a wide array of metal objects on a mat and she is just shocked. Saber comes and asks what’s wrong and Rin says how sorcery is an equivalent exchange practice in the end, bringing things in from other places. But Rin says Shirou however has created things out of nothing, he has no idea what he is capable of. She says his specialty isn’t reinforcing, it’s a sorcery that does things like creating things out of nothing.
Shirou, alone gets a call from Shinji at the school. Shinji says he has something important to tell him and that he should come to the school. Shirou arrives and finds no one in the halls even though at this time of day there should be some. He opens up the door to a classroom to find al the students collapsed on the floor some still in pain. He looks out the window and sees red lines streaking around a dome of the school, the force field having been activated. Shinji said how he wanted to show Rin how he was superior to Shirou and that he would defeat him here. He tries to cast some spells but Shirou effortlessly passes by them. Rider comes to Shinji’s rescue and after some attacks and a failed attack where she stabbed him in the neck and it broke the tip of her blade, she kicked Shirou out the window and he fell to his almost death.
Shirou said to himself how he can’t believe he is going to die without saving anyone. He says no, he has this now and he uses up one of his command spells to summon Saber who saves him from falling. The two of them then go back into the school to fight Shinji and Rider. Saber fighting Rider, Shirou fighting Shinji. Shirou corners Shinji and forces him to release the force field. He then pressures him to give up his command spells but he refuses and Rider comes to his rescue after running past Saber. Saber yells at Shirou to get back and Rider stabs herself in the neck with her blade so that the blade goes completely through her neck. Blood sprays everywhere but the blood forms a circle in front of her and Shinji and forms a symbol. Saber says Rider is releasing the mana she had to use her Noble Phantasm, the super special attack/ability that the Servants have. Rider fires her blast and when the dust settles she and Shinji are gone. Shirou collapses having used up some strength and Saber takes him home.
At home after recovering he goes to talk to Saber. Saber really yells at him for all the things he has don such as going out on his own, trying to fight himself. Shirou apologizes and says from now on he will always fight with Saber but he says he won’t say what he has been doing is wrong. He will still never stop fighting but now he will do it with Saber.
Impressions:
Exciting episode with the fight between Rider and Saber. We saw Shirou use up one of his command spells summoning Saber which a bit off topic I think it a crappy way the command spells work. I understand loosing one for making a Servant do something they really don’t want to do and I think you also loose one when your Servant dies but loosing one for summoning the Servant from wherever to your side? That’s stupid. Mostly all of the other Masters who were good magicians or at least summoned in the first place the Servant correctly can have their Servant go into spirit mode where they are invisible and possible ghost like. If you could make your Servant do that, which Shirou is the only one who can’t I think, then you would never had any need for summoning for you could just take them with you even in broad daylight with people all around.
Rider stabbing Shirou and having the tip of her blade break and do no damage was a bit surprising, interesting as to if he is reinforcing himself somehow or something just to deal with the mana he has from Saber and such. At least Shirou beat the crap out of Shinji in terms of abilities when Shinji tried to unleash magic it did practically nothing to him. We finally got the main confrontation between Shinji and Shirou started, although not finished it will probably end soon in the next episode or two. It really showed Shinji’s true colors and I think we will still yet to see a bigger fight between Saber and Rider soon.
It was nice and interesting to see an understanding between Shirou and Saber. When Saber really yelled at him and was angry at him for the things he has done such as try to fight by himself. Even though Shirou said he would keep fighting he would do it with Saber and even though Saber was kind of angry at him it looked almost as if she respected him for wanting to fight and not see other people hurt. It was also funny when the two of them shook hands and held it for a bit when Rin walked in and made a comment. They both got kind of embarrassed but that shows that there could defiantly be something between them.
