The terrorists make their assault on our heroes and we get some more info on the history of Aki and Kazuhiko, as well as a bit a mystery about Yuu at the end.

Summary:
We start off with a flashback of the history of Aki and Kazuhiko. They are obviously from a very rich family and right now there is a party going on, a high class one. Kazuhiko is very popular with everyone and especially the ladies, getting all the attention. Kazuhiko sees Aki and goes to talk to her. Aki is upset that Kazuhiko is around people like that and when they come to get him he says Aki should come along but they all say she isn’t needed, putting Aki really down and the flashback ends.
Back on Aries, Aki and Kazuhiko are arguing over who should be in control of the main computer. Eventually Morimoto stops the argument and Aki assumes control of the computer. Kazuhiko leaves and find Shuuhei who is doing something. He talks to him and thanks him for saving Aki, but says that hates Shuuhei sort of for outshining him I guess but also that he respects him. Back at the control room, Ryouta, Sayoko and Nao are being amazed at Aki’s work at the computer. They say she is a lot like her brother and she flips out saying she isn’t. The mood is kind of tense so Ryouta lightens things up by taking pictures and they all eventually have some fun and forget about the bad situation.
At the main terrorist occupied control room, Aya is serving the hostages and terrorists food. The white haired terrorist asks the leader with the scar if it’s alright to let her be wondering around and he says its fine, she can’t do anything and she is putting to ease the other hostages. They are all prepared to make their strike at the good guys and head off. Ryouta and Yuu who are on guard at the blast door hear the terrorists coming and alert the other. Shuuhei and Cellaria come and take guard of the door as Ryouta and Yuu retreat to the control room.
The door blasts open and Shuuhei opens fire only to find that the terrorist leader with a scar has a shield that is blocking the shots. The terrorists don’t approach but stand at the doorway shooting. Shuuhei notices something is wrong and Aki activates the cameras and sees a second group approaching from another direction. Kazuhiko leaves to go deal with them. Kazuhiko manages to catch them off guard and kills three of the four terrorists coming from that direction fairly fast. The white haired girl however doesn’t die and after a shootout with her Kazuhiko retreats a bit and uses their explosives they were going to use for the door to blow apart the path so the air leak doors shut and make that entrance impossible, leaving the one the other terrorists are at the only one. As Kazuhiko radios back to Aki he hears nothing at first then a scream for Aki telling Yuu to stop, then radio silence and the episode ends.
Impressions:
A fairly exciting episode with gun fight between Kazuhiko and the terrorists. This series is defiantly different then I expected, with the focus not being, not right now that is, on relationships or comedy but right now it is focused on the event of the terrorists’ invasion of Aries. I don’t know how much longer this will go on but the rest of the series could easily be composed of events like this one with just small sections on the relationships and comedy behind them.
It was nice to see the background behind Aki and Kazuhiko, some of the problems and the root of their sibling fighting. We will probably see more backgrounds and the history of more characters. We have yet to see much of Sayoko and there may be some parts about Sayoko and Ryouta because they did seem to know each other since before coming to Aries and all.
I was surprised at the end with the screams from Aki about Yuu. This could mean that Yuu was all along bad and perhaps the spy from the terrorist group. It did sound as though she were doing something horrible, it could turn out she was just doing something that Aki thought was bad but for a good reason but I’m starting to doubt that it is that.
