We get a lot of mystery behind Etoile in this episode as well as some of the same things the first episode carried.

Summary:

We start off more or less with Tamao trying to wake up Nagisa. She has some obsession with her and wakes her up by tickling her cheek. Tamao comments on how even when Nagisa is mad she is cute and Nagisa just kind of gives up on trying to counteract her yuriness. Nagisa’s uniform arrived and Tamao tries to help Nagisa put it on, but Nagisa is a little wary because of Tamao’s obsession with her but eventually gives in.

As the two of them are running to breakfast because Tamao spent too much time combing Nagisa’s hair, they run into Etoile and the Student President along with a few other people. Nagisa gets mesmerized by Etoile again and they almost kiss but are stopped by the clock bells. As the two of them eventually get to class Nagisa is surrounded by her classmates who are fawning over her about the incident with Etoile previously. They seem to all be jealous and envious of Etoile’s interest in Nagisa.

At lunch time, we see the Student President talking about how they can’t find Etoile and that she escaped. They need her for a lunch meeting between the three schools and they always have Etoile there and basically won’t hold the meeting without her. While Nagisa is taking a walk she stumbles upon Etoile who is transfixed with some other girl. They almost kiss but are stopped by Nagisa stepping on a branch. Nagisa then runs away and reaches the library. Eventually in the Library she stumbles across Etoile and again Nagisa is just stopped in her tracks and can’t move by Etoile’s gaze. The two of them again almost kiss but are stopped again by some Nodoka look-alike when she falls and has books fall on her.

Later back at the dorm Tamao tells Nagisa that those who Etoile likes will not be able to resist her over a month, like she puts some sort of spell on them. Meanwhile the Student President is talking to Etoile and says that she can’t keep doing things like disappearing for lunch meetings. She says at this rate she will not be able to protect her. She tells Etoile she needs to respect the duties of the Etoile and the episode ends.

Impressions:

Ok something is defiantly up with Etoile, something that I think could be more then a natural thing. She seems to just has this fix on people. About all the girls at the school have this attraction to her, she mesmerized Nagisa when she was about to kiss her even though she didn’t really particularly want to and at the end the Student President talks about protecting her and that she needs to live up to her duties. Perhaps the title Etoile also comes with some, I don’t know, powers that she needs to use to keep the girls to have an idol in the school or something.

Besides from the growing mystery of Etoile we didn’t really get much else going on in this episode. We saw more attraction of Tamao to Nagisa but it still seems that Nagisa isn’t into the whole yuri thing. Will get interesting to see how this series develops, and I swear that girl from the library was Nodoka from Negima with a little bit different styled hair.
